DYING TO OPEN (2023 Claymore Awards Finalist) is a Cozy Mystery and the first novel in the MAILBOX MYSTERIES series. – Postal carrier April Sparks uses neighborhood gossip and secrets, plus the types of mail she delivers, to solve mysteries in an upscale beach town. It’s fun until her job and life are at stake. (Books two and three are in development).

BAYOU DOLLS is a light-hearted mystery. – All Sage Gibson wanted was a promotion. She never imagined to get it; she’d have to chase after a teenage wannabe voodoo princess in the bogs of the southern bayou during a hurricane.

OBSSESIONISTA is a Chick-Lit novel. – Miri Levitt is a neat freak from a “we’re not that Jewish” pot-smoking family, navigating her messy life in hope of finding a soulmate while trying not to appear needy.

I think of my writing as dwelling in the intersections where misunderstandings crash into comedy. After a career in city government, authoring hundreds of public documents, I am thrilled to write entertaining fiction. I’m a member of Sisters in Crime and The Westside Writer’s Lab. My master’s degree is in International Policy with an emphasis in Cross-Cultural Communications and Social Psychology.

When not writing, I can be found with my fabulous husband and our Bernedoodle, hiking the Santa Monica Mountains while debating urban planning.
